1. What is digitizing?
Embroidery digitizing is the process of converting existing artwork like a company logo or team emblem into a stitch file that an embroidery machine can sew on a garment. Before any design can be embroidered, it must be digitized. Digitizing is a complex process that is both art and science. The cost of digitizing a logo depends on a few factors: what size of design (a left chest design will cost less to digitize than a full back design) and the amount of stitches in the logo. Digitizing cost starts at $45.
2. Once I get my logo digitized, do I need to pay the fee again if I order in the future?
The set-up charge is a one time charge. Once we have your digitized logo on file we will be able to use it on any future orders. If the embroidery file needs to be altered in any way (size or other changes) an editing fee may apply.

Typically, we require vector based files allowing colour separation. Vector files convert type to lines and curves. Adobe Illustrator or EPS files are preferred. Bitmap or raster (Photoshop) files will not be accepted. Artwork re-creation of non-vector artwork is available. Charges will be quoted upon review of the existing art files. JPG files are usually fine for digitizing purposes (embroidery orders) but we do require vector artwork if you are getting anything printed. If you are unsure about your logo file? Contact us for further assistance.
